WHO WE ARE

AXSAFE™ is the story of two brothers with complementary skills who worked together to bring us this unique medical product.

The Inventor:

Brad Moll is an experienced medical professional who has served on the U.S. Board of Examiners for Biomedical Equipment Technicians and on the Board of Directors of the Medical Equipment & Technology Association.

Fresh out of college, Brad was hired to work as a technician on home-dialysis machines. As a technician, he could not avoid witnessing firsthand the negative effect of venous needle dislodgment on patients. When this happened to one of Brad's patients for whom he cared a lot, he decided to do something about it.

Brad began to think about the physical nature of the needle/flesh interface, of a solution that had to work in clinical settings. The solution had to be low cost, disposable, simple, easy to use and above all, dependable.

The result is AXSAFE™, the only patented fail-safe solution designed to ring an alarm when needle dislodgement occurs from a point of access.

The Financier:

Rodney Moll is the Founder and Chairman of TrendSource, one of the world's premier information gathering and evaluation firms.

Rodney founded the company in 1989 and developed it into a recognized force in the Business Intelligence Gathering space with over 17,000 mystery shoppers in the U.S., Canada and the U.K.

From the beginning, Rodney saw the potential of Information Technology and made the strategic decision to invest heavily in it. Today, TrendSource has developed a proprietary software system that is able to provide its clients with overnight data on thousands of locations in an easy-to-use graphical interface.
